GUIDING PROVISION
for the European Championship in hand-to-hand fighting 2025
(Juniors (Men, Women), Young Athletes Group (Boys, Girls))

1. GOALS
   Promotion of Hand-to-Hand fighting in the world
   Strengthening friendly relations with athletes of foreign countries.
2. TIME, PLACE, PROGRAM
   Time and Venue 25 January, 2025: Serbia, Novi Pazar, 36300, Mitrovacka bb, Sportska
   dvorana «Pendik».
   Accommodation Hotel “Vrbak” – Address: Kej 37 sandzacke divizije 36300 Novi Pazar.
   The cost of accommodation with breakfast per day:
   Single room – 43 Euro, Double room – 72 Euro, Triple room – 94 Euro
   PROGRAM:
   24 January, 2025– arrivals, accommodation, meeting of judges, accreditation, mandatory
   committee, weighing and medical control of participants, draw ceremony;
   25 January, 2025 – opening of the Championship, preliminary, quarter and semi-final
   fights. Finals, prize awarding, closing Ceremony.
   26 January, 2025- departure of teams.
3. ORGANIZATION AND RUNNING
   Organizations in charge of preparation, arrangement and running of the Championship:

• Hand-to-hand fighting Sport International Federation (HSIF);
• European Federation of Hand-to-hand fighting Sport
• Hand-to-hand fighting Federation of the Republic of Serbia

1. PARTICIPANTS
   Eligible athletes to participate in the Championship in the discipline “Fight”: boys
   teenage groups 14-15 and 16-17 years, girls teenagers 16-17 years; juniors men and women
   18-23 years, representing the official organizations of HSIF.
   Competitions are held in the following weight categories:
   cadets boys 14-15 – (kg) up to 41, 44, 48, 52, 57, 62, 67, 73, heavier 73.
   cadets boys 16-17 – (kg) up to 48, 52, 57, 62, 67, 73, 80, heavier 80.
   cadets girls 16-17 – (kg) up to 44, 48, 53, 58, 64, heavier 70.
   juniors men 18-23 – (kg) up to -57, 62, 67, 73, 80, 88, 97, heavier 97 кг.
   juniors women 18-23 – (kg) up to 48, 53, 58, 64, 70, heavier 70.
   An unlimited number of athletes from a country in each weight category is allowed.

5. REFEREES
   Referees for the Championship shall be recruited by special invitation agreed with Referee

   Referee remuneration costs are covered by the Organizers.
6. RULES AND ARRANGEMENTS
   The Championship is arranged and run in accordance with the Rules of the Hand-tohand fighting Sport International Federation on website: www.hsif.world >> Refereeing >>
   Competitions rules. Competition formula is Article 2. Para 4(a), 5(a).
   Competitions are held with a personal and team event. Fights are held on the
   Olympic system, two third places.
   The cost of receiving foreign sports delegations (meal, accommodation) at the
   expense of Sending Side. The cost of travel of foreign sports delegations to Serbia, Novi
   Pazar and back, at the expense of the Sending Side.
   Application payment is 50 Euro from each athlete.
7. AWARDS
   Champions in each weight category are awarded with medals and diplomas of the 1st
   degree; Prize-winners are awarded with medals and diplomas of corresponding degrees.
   Champions coaches are awarded with diplomas.
8. INVITATION, APPLICATION, CONTACTS
   Applications to participate stating number of participants should be sent to the
   Organizers Committee in advance of the event and should reach the Committee no later than
   20 January 2025.

   This Governing Provisions document shall serve as the Official Invitation to the
   European Championship for young athletes.
   Participants are to cover travel costs, accommodation and meal from their own
   arrangements.

   Without prior application, athletes are not allowed to compete.
   Delegations arriving at the call are required to submit to the credentials committee
   through their representative: an application (surname of athletes in English), identity
   documents of members of sports delegations, originals of contracts for insurance against
   accidents, life and health of participants, national flag and anthem (on USB).
